RoadSift doesn't sell cars and doesn't take a cut. It searches the adverts already out there, reads the official MOT record behind them and tells you honestly which one is the stronger buy, and which one to walk away from.

Every search hits the big UK advert sites and national dealer groups live, Gumtree, eBay Motors, CarGurus, Cazoo, Motors.co.uk, heycar, cinch, Motorpoint, Exchange & Mart, Carsite, Desperate Seller, Evans Halshaw, Bristol Street Motors, Arnold Clark, RAC Cars, Car & Classic, plus independent forecourts near your postcode, anywhere in the UK.

Ask Natasha instead of filling in forms
Natasha is our AI car buyer. Tell her what you're after in plain English, "cheap automatic near Perth with low miles", and she builds the search, then gives you a straight, slightly sarcastic opinion on each car.

Dodgy adverts get binned
Write-offs, salvage, spares-or-repair, non-runners and finance-payment adverts are stripped out automatically, and by default you only see dealer and garage stock.

We find the reg and read the MOT
RoadSift reads the registration from the advert text, or scans every photo in one click, and you can always type it in yourself. Then it pulls the official DVSA MOT record and turns advisories and failures into plain-English risk: corrosion, brakes, suspension, recurring faults and mileage sanity. If the data service is down you can copy the reg and jump straight to GOV.UK.

Shortlist, compare, share, go and see it
Save two to five cars and compare them side by side, swiping on a phone or stepping through with arrows on desktop, with every MOT history read live. RoadSift ranks them on price, age, mileage and MOT risk, tells you why, suggests the questions to ask the seller, and gives you a short shareable link so someone else can see the same list.

- Public listing pages on Gumtree, eBay Motors, CarGurus, Cazoo, Motors.co.uk, heycar, cinch, Motorpoint, Exchange & Mart, Carsite, Desperate Seller, Evans Halshaw, Bristol Street Motors, Arnold Clark, RAC Cars, Car & Classic, plus independent forecourt websites near your postcode. Every car links back to the original advert, RoadSift never republishes a listing as its own.
- MOT history
- The official DVSA MOT History API: test dates, results, mileage readings, failures and advisories exactly as recorded at the testing station.
- Natasha's opinion
- A large language model reading the advert text, the photos and the MOT record against typical prices and mileage for that car. It is an informed opinion, not an inspection.
- What we don't search
- Some large sites block automated access, so their adverts won't appear here. We show you what we can reach, and say so rather than pretending it's everything.
